If you’ve been eagerly waiting for any official news or other information regarding the upcoming entry in the iconic Battlefield series, you won’t need to wait much longer as Battlefield 6 is now finally confirmed to be revealed to the world on July 24, which is tomorrow with the game’s first trailer releasing at 8am PT. Also, the official title is confirmed to be Battlefield 6 which is quite fitting as it indicates the next generational leap for the long running first person shooter series of games in lots of ways, with everything that players have come to expect from the series dialed up to whole new heights.
In a post on Twitter/X, the official Battlefield account has shared a 20 second teaser showing several soldiers overlooking a battle-ravaged city area complete with ships, planes and helicopters which is a neat way of showcasing the massive scale and scope of the upcoming FPS, especially it’s multiplayer mode which features all of the aforementioned vehicles plus tense boots-on-the-ground gameplay. In other words, it’s pretty much the signature gameplay we’ve come to expect from the military FPS with both aerial and ground level warfare in tandem.
“Prepare for the ultimate all-out warfare experience in Battlefield 6,” reads the current description on the game’s upcoming reveal trailer on YouTube which is both exciting and true-to-form in terms of what the series stands for, by delivering the kind of spectacular shooting experience that you can’t get anywhere in the entire FPS genre. So make sure to tune in tomorrow for the first look of the hotly anticipated next entry in the iconic Battlefield series of games.
Also, according to recent discoveries in the API in EA App, an Open Beta for Battlefield 6 could go live as early as August 4th, also indicating pre-orders for the game to possibly start on that day or sometimes later. All of this certainly points to the coming months being hugely eventful for all Battlefield fans and players who love the FPS genre.
Battlefield 6 is expected to arrive on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC sometimes in 2026.
