Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a new breed of fighting game that is rushing to multiple platforms, including PC. A new trailer has dropped and it truly is exciting to see our favorite heroes back for some more action. While many ask for a new Marvel Vs Capcom title, it seems that fans will have to wait for a new iteration to be a reality, because it seems that this time, Arc System Works is taking a shot at making an all new fighter by themselves. Sony is backing them up with some publishing privileges, and we hope that when this releases on PC, it becomes a stable release. We at Infinite Start plead for that to happen.
Marvel Tokon, Marvel goes to Japan again
It seems that as always, Japan is obsessed with western culture for the better or for the worse. There has been some severe changes in their media lately, from anime to a bunch of other exports they do, all of these changes were made to appeal to the western side of the world. This is neat, but at the same time, I can’t help but feel that the quirkiness that characterized Japan is slowly but surely fading away. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls tries to fill that gap that Marvel Vs Capcom left, but it will do it in an pure way, featuring characters that only belong to the Marvel universe.
This new fighting game will come in 2026, but there’s still no specified date for it happening, we can assume this will be an early release of the year because Arc System Works seems to have been cooking it from quite a while. The trailer already shows gameplay so, the game might be almost finished. I’m honestly very curious for what the roster will be, at least Spider Man is in so that makes me happy.
