World of Warcraft: Forever looks awesome according to some gamers, and when you check it out it honestly looks quite insane. I never thought they would do this to World of Warcraft but here we are, it feels like Blizzard is attempting to give us reasons to not play on private servers. Of course, this is all due to money, they have to renovate the game to make people feel like something new is coming, but considering how good it looks I would say they deserve it. There’s multiple commands you can use to make things look sharper if you desire too.
World of Warcraft: Forever evolved
You could argue that this might be the best looking MMO game so far, and you might be right, but there is other contenders in the horizon waiting to take the throne from World of Warcraft. Guild Wars has been running for quite a while now, and its also getting updates similar to this, along with a 3rd entry that looks way better than anything we have seen before in the genre. Of course, graphics aren’t the only thing that matters, compared to World of Warcraft I feel like Guild Wars is more fun in general.
World of Warcraft: Forever tries to aim at nostalgia by reviving what people liked about the game, but one can do so much by recycling the same ideas and putting a coat of paint on top of them. I wonder if Blizzard is planning something else for the future to ensure more people decide to jump into World of Warcraft instead of any competitor. Back in the day, people used to care a ton about graphical fidelity, but even the same people who did are stopping to care about that. It was never about the art itself that they cared, but the tech advances sadly.
