Battlefield 6 is quickly nearing the final phase of it’s current Season 4 featuring naval warfare and the biggest map in the history of the series named Tsuru Reef, and the game has just received the Tidal Strike event which comes with a suite of new contents as a proper sendoff to what’s arguably has been the most exciting season of the first person shooter.
The Tidal Strike update brings the Deep Six Collection Event, which is set to run from September 15 to October 12, and will offer players several in-game rewards for completing a series of tactical missions and full completion of the event unlocks the Royal Navy Dive Knife skin as well.
There will also be a free trial event in Battlefield 6 between the time period, providing both new and old players a great mix of maps and modes including Wake Island, Tsuru Reef, Cairo Bazaar and Hagental Base along with Conquest, Escalation and the new Deep Six Event Playlist. The trials will run simultaneously to an upcoming Double XP weekend, which will give both new and returning players the chance to progress faster and catch up with others.
Also, the Top Gun crossover event has been extended through to the end of Season 4, providing more time window for players who haven’t experienced the intense airborne combat all across land, sea and sky which is something you won’t find in any other shooter out there.
Players of the free battle royale mode Battlefield Redsec haven’t been left out either as the devs have released the Phantom Program, which is a limited‑time operation set within Fort Lyndon where players will hunt for various access code fragments and intelligence items throughout the map. The Redsec mode features a unique mix of exploration and high-octane gameplay, rewarding players with more XP, weapon packages as well as the discovery of a mysterious new element waiting to be found.
