Microsoft has unveiled an official lineup of classic Xbox-inspired gaming peripherals to celebrate the console line’s upcoming 25th anniversary. Partnering with major hardware manufacturers—including Razer, 8BitDo, PowerA, and GameSir—the new collection spans gear designed for console, PC, and mobile platforms, tapping directly into the brand’s nostalgia.
The flagship theme across the lineup centers on the iconic translucent green aesthetics made famous by the original Halo: Campaign Evolved Xbox special edition. Beyond the signature translucent green shell, each peripheral features custom Xbox 25 branding to mark the quarter-century milestone since the original console debuted in November 2001.
For PC players, the collection introduces custom editions of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K gaming mouse, the Razer BlackWidow V4 75% mechanical keyboard, and the Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed wireless earbuds. Console owners picking up the official 25th Anniversary Xbox controller can pair it with the 8BitDo Ultimate Charging Dock, built specifically to mirror the retro aesthetic while serving as a dedicated display stand.
Mobile gaming hardware sees significant representation in the lineup as well. Backbone is releasing its Pro mobile controller grips in three translucent colorways—Crystal Clear, Iconic Blue, and Bold Orange—distributed exclusively via blind box packaging. Alternatively, the GameSir X5 Lite offers a guaranteed translucent green finish without the randomized pull. To round out the set, PowerA is releasing a dedicated Xbox sling bag designed with multiple organizational compartments to fit handheld devices such as the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X alongside their respective peripherals.
Pre-orders for the entire collection are currently live across each manufacturer’s individual storefront. Most of the accessories, alongside the main 25th Anniversary Xbox controller, are slated to launch officially on October 20, 2026.
