Planet Harvester: Incremental Odyssey just released today, and it is quite an awesome indie game in case you like seeing numbers go up as you do things. It is a low poly count game that is quite relaxing, perfect for zoning out and doing repetitive tasks like gathering materials and making numbers roll even higher. For gamers who experience a ton of stress in their daily lives, I feel like this new PC game might scratch the itch of playing games in their free time. Not everything needs to be a tough challenge, so Planet Harvester: Incremental Odyssey aims at more casual players.
Planet Harvester: Incremental Odyssey is out
Planet Harvester: Incremental Odyssey is an indie game, and it is made by a studio who only made four games, all of them are very chill games too. If you are curious, the name is Galysh Company, and they seem to be in the gig since 2024, I think that supporting smaller companies and groups like this might be the best choice, at the same time it is okay if you don’t want to do so because they just target a very specific niche of players. I feel like Planet Harvester: Incremental Odyssey has the biggest chance of becoming a huge success for them.
Your task in this game is to turn small numbers into huge numbers by upgrading your tools and mowing things up in every planet that you visit. The art style is definitely something cozy, and I’m curious to see if they will do anything weird with it considering low poly holds a ton of potential inside. Alas, it might be an artistic choice to save time rather than do anything wild out of it, Planet Harvester: Incremental Odyssey just seems like a game about numbers going up at its core.
