The season 4 of Battlefield 6 featuring naval combat is currently on full swing and has entered it’s second phase with the Top Gun Crossover contents that lets you control iconic characters from the series such as Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), Lt. Robert “Bob” Floyd (Lewis Pullman), and Adm. Solomon “Warlock” Bates (Charles Parnell). And besides the movie characters, the new phase also brings the Wake Island map which is a highly reworked version of the Battlefield 5 map with added scale, systems, and other modernized updates, expanding on the sprawling warfare experience throughout land, air and the seas.
At this point, it really goes without saying that Battlefield 6 is in it’s biggest season yet, with a string of contents that make it an unparalleled experience when it comes to the first person shooter genre–simply put, there’s nothing out there like EA’s flagship shooter right now.
And to make sure the experience can reach the maximum amount of audience, EA is offering an extensive free trial period for the game which will last till August 25 and everything you unlock while playing Battlefield 6 multiplayer during the trial period will remain on your account if you decide to buy the full game later. So if for some reason, you’re still on the fence regarding the highest selling shooter of last year, this week is your chance to play it for free and experience everything that currently makes Battlefield 6 the most standout first person shooter experience out there.
The free trial period for Battlefield 6 lets you experience these game modes which include the new Top Gun crossover event:
- Top Gun: Carrier Strike
- Conquest
- Breakthrough
- Escalation
- Casual Breakthrough
The trial also allows you to access these four maps, including Tsuru Reef which is the biggest map in the history of the series:
- Wake Island
- Tsuru Reef
- Cairo Bazaar
- Hagental Base
However, to get the free access to Battlefield 6 multiplayer, you need to download the free battle royale mode for the game titled Battlefield Redsec as per EA’s official description:
“Download Battlefield REDSEC on your platform to access the Battlefield 6 Free Trial – no purchase required. The trial runs until August 25. Keep your earned unlocks after it ends and continue playing REDSEC for free.”
The move is intended to steer more players into Redsec which in turn, may encourage a part of them to buy Battlefield 6 at some point in the future.
