The Lord of the Rings: War in the North got epic 2026 drop

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North just got a Legacy Edition version, and people seem to really love this one. For many, this is one of the best PC games ever made in The Lord of the Rings series, and honestly they are right. This game was an amazing entry, and shows that little has changed in the way of gameplay aside from just getting more realistic graphics. In fact, gameplay just got worse nowadays due to the constant push for loot boxes and nonsensical battle passes in single player games. However, old gaming does not die that easily.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is back

From the hands of Aspyr Media, who are known to do quite terrible ports to modern PC, in fact I’ve reviewed some in here before, comes an actual banger. I couldn’t believe that they would fix all of the problems, but here we are, it seems that they figured out how to port old games to modern computers after all this time. Something tells me they were a bit incompetent at doing this, but I want to believe that there is good faith in their actions. However, one could say they did a bad job to cheap out on things.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is definitely a game that deserved to come back, because the multiplayer aspect along with the single player campaign really brings tons of hours that feel worth your time. This is a game from 2011 that died with the PS3 and Xbox 360 generation, and it is regarded as a classic by many gamers who started on the declining quality era, as I like to call it. The Lord of the Rings: War in the North was a gem that managed to outshine the dull and boring games that started to pop up back then.
