Beast of Reincarnation has been released today, and people seem to be quite divided on this new soulslike coming from the hands of Game Freak. There is some work to be done definitely, and it is clear that there could be more things in the game, but so far it feels like a double A game attempting to pass itself as a triple A game, at least according to people. There was a ton of hype surrounding this one, but that was because the people who were making it were people related to the Pokemon franchise, and it seems that when they do Pokemon is when they do things right sometimes.
Beast of Reincarnation is out
Out and sitting at a 50% Score on Steam, which is a mixed rating, apparently some people really love to just review bomb the game even if it just came out. There should be a ton of fixes in the following days I can expect, and it would truly benefit the game if it happens as soon as possible. Considering this is the first project of Game Freak that looks like this Beast of Reincarnation deserves some more. I really wish this game could shine in the future.
There’s tons of expectation, and a lot of unfulfilled hype that has been generated by the announcement of the game, but what ended up coming out is just alright. I never thought I would see Game Freak working in other games since they started handling the Pokemon series after some unsuccessful attempts, but here it is that time of the decade again. Everything they have done besides Pokemon has always been a mixed bag, there’s some very cool concepts, but sometimes they are executed in a clunky way. Beast of Reincarnation can just wait in your wishlist for now.
