Space Savory looks very interesting, and it just got a trailer revealing when it will come out. This is quite the alien looking point and click game for PC a genre that does not seem to be that popular compared to everything else that exists in the medium. Not many players seem interested in this kind of premise but there is a very loyal niche that still remains vigilant for every new release in the genre. Sometimes, that’s okay, not every genre is made the same, let alone holds the same level of popularity as things like Souls likes or First Person Shooters.

In October 26th of 2026, this dark humor point and click about a diner with questionable ethics and workflow will be hitting the Steam store. It will clearly be reminiscent to that of early point and click games, who often had some very dark humor and dealt with interesting problems. The art style feels like something that would have come from the past decade and that’s great, there’s many games that looks too similar to each other and the fact that there is a game like this means that creativity still flows through the medium.
Space Savory is being cooked for years now, and it might shape up to be a memorable dish that the industry has failed to provide for so long. As long as the triple A industry remains a mess of layoffs, cancellations and terrible games, indie developers like DelusionArt Studio will keep bringing novelty to the medium. It is sad that we have to break up with the big companies that once provided amazing games, but its the reality we live in, a reality where the publishers that control the industry don’t know the history of the studios they cut down.
