Unleash the Avatar is definitely going to be a cinematic action game coming from the hands of independent developers in India, and its looking pretty good. However I can’t help but feel a ton of games nowadays feel the same, or at least look the same thanks to the choice of engine that makes things feel more homogenized. A cinematic trailer has dropped, and while we still don’t know when it will release, it looks like quite a neat PC game. If you are curious and want to know more, you should check out the developers behind it because they have many things to say.
Unleash the Avatar coming soon
Perhaps this one will be releasing in 2027, a game of this magnitude made by an indie studio is something wild, this doesn’t seem like a Expedition 33 situation, or at least as far as I have researched they don’t seem to have the funds they had. However, the company seems positioned in a way that is much better than the average dude in his own house making a game for the sake of it. I wonder how well this one will perform, considering it is a Souls-like I will consider it for the future if it is good.
Unleash the Avatar will take us to India, and we will explore some Indian religion in a new way, this lore is severely underappreciated as not many games aim to adapt Indian religion into stories. It is more common to see Japanese mythology, or even plots about Nordic gods become a thing to the point other cultures get eclipsed. Gaming is a space where creativity is essential, and showing different perspectives of the world helps with bringing variety to the medium. Hopefully, this one isn’t too hard for the average gamer, but if it is I’m up to tackle the challenge of Unleash the Avatar.
