Rockstar reveals that they indeed had plans for years to destroy any sort of union efforts, as shown by the recent reveal that they had a spy in the union workers Discord server. This is huge because it shows how deep the intentions run considering the whole thing has been going on unnoticed for years. The fact that there is zero punishment for this yet shows that things will only get worse if we don’t push back against these big corporations that want to take everything we have. There needs to be a way to win, and the best way to do so is not buying Grand Theft Auto 6.
Rockstar is evil
The fact that they go as far as to plant spies in spaces that are meant to be safe shows that this is a company that shouldn’t be trusted. Not to mention, if they do this to people who work for them, then what will they do to people who buy stuff from them? The answer is very simple, we their costumers are merely just a statistic that doesn’t matter in the bigger scale of things. We have to show Rockstar that they are also just another company that can’t sustain itself without us.
The industry is in a very precarious position right now, some even believe that a second video game industry crash is about to happen. Tim Sweeney himself has declared that the reckoning is coming soon, and I can’t wait to see many of these big companies suffer from the damage they brought upon themselves. Alas, the worst part is that the ones that will get punished like always are the workers, Rockstar will probably lay all of them off. It is terrible, but maybe the best way to win is to simply not play anymore.
