Pathogenic is coming soon in July 16th and it seems to be a PC exclusive with no release for other platforms when looking at the trailer. As always it seems that PC gamers keep getting the best games, and I have found a ton of exclusives consoles like the PlayStation or the Xbox would love to have. Sadly, if it is not made by Nintendo, consoles are a thing of the past unless they provide a good gimmick to make them worth it. Regardless, Pathogenic looks like it will be an amazing game to play in 2026 as it looks like a mix between Spore and The Binding of Isaac.

We play as a Pathogen, in our quest to infect a human body and destroy many bosses along the way, to do so we need to adapt and evolve further, consuming everything in our path to become stronger. This one is definitely a bullet hell that will be tough to deal with, games like this pump many people up so for those seeking a challenge this might be it. If you are wondering how this one plays out, you can check out the demo on Steam to see if you like it.
If you do I believe the best thing you can do is adding it to your wishlist to support the developer behind it. Indie games like this deserve to have more eyes on them, because its very hard to catch the attention of people these days. There’s a ton of games out there, and like a small microbe this title might end up get swept under the pile of games that come out each day. I wish this one can succeed and grow further, I always thought the idea presented by Pathogenic would be an interesting game to play.
