The recently released LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has been a critical hit and it seems a lot more characters from the comics are about to show up in the game in the form of an upcoming DLC, offering even more playability in the long run. If you’ve completed the main story of LEGO Batman, you’ll be glad to know that your in-game adventures will continue with new flavors of narrative beats.
Reliable dataminer/leaker XOXLEAK claims to have discovered over 10 characters that will be added to LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight via a DLC set to release sometimes this year. The DLC is called Task Force X and will contain characters such as “Bronze Tiger, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Javelin, Katana, Killer Croc, King Shark, Lester (The Electrocutioner?), Mongal, Polka Dot Man, Rick Flag, A.R.G.U.S, Cops, Ally Goons for Joker & Harley.”
And while the list of characters definitely seems fun, it’s better to take it all with a grain of salt before the developers themselves officially confirm anything.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a fun-filled romp through the Batman universe containing almost everything you can expect in a title which features the iconic caped crusader as it’s protagonist. The newly-released title have been received favorably by various outlets and publications, proving itself to be worthy of the Dark Knight pedigree in more ways than one (also wiping away the memories of the severely underwhelming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League for good), especially with it’s massive open world that’s even bigger than Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight.
The game also features tons of collectibles that are sure to appeal to most fans such as over 100 suits and more, which will keep you busy long after the credits have rolled.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight came out on May 22 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
