Despite the open world racer still being in early access, Forza Horizon 6 has already begun to set new benchmarks for the franchise which includes player counts on Steam that are more than double the numbers of it’s predecessor Forza Horizon 5. First spotted by GamesRadar+, Forza Horizon 6’s all-time player peak on Steam is now sitting at a colossal 172,093 and when compared to the previous entry in the series which had a peak of 81,096 on launch day, the numbers seem all the more gigantic.
What’s more impressive is the fact that this number is only a representation of the players who bought the pricier Premium Edition of the game so naturally, when the standard edition is available on May 19, the numbers are expected to be even higher.
And currently on Steam, Forza Horizon 6 is at number two in the list of highest selling titles worldwide where the top position is held by the recently released Subnautica 2 which has even more impressive player stats.
In other news of Forza Horizon 6, although the premier arcade racer is yet to arrive on all platforms, the first festival playlist rewards have already been unveiled which is set to kick off from May 21 and end on June 18 . And here are the 10 cars that will be available to collect for all players:
- 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z EDITION (earn 20 points during the Summer Season)
- 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR (earn 40 points during the Summer Season)

- 2010 Nissan 370Z (earn 120 points over the course of the whole ‘Welcome to Japan’ series)
The Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 6 will cost $69.99 while the more expensive Premium Edition will include the game’s first two expansions, the game Car Pass, two “Car Packs”, a “VIP Membership”, and a Welcome Pack plus four days of early access period. Also, everyone who pre-orders Forza Horizon 6 will get a “Pre-Tuned Ferrari J50” which will definitely make the first few hours of the game much easier.
Forza Horizon 6 is speeding it’s way to the PC and Xbox Series X|S on May 19th and is expected to launch on the Playstation 5 later this year.
