Outbound has all the markings of a game that will do amazing provided it gets enough traction, this new PC game aims at the cozy market which is quite a popular genre considering how things are going in the world. Sometimes you just want to chill and remain calm, so these kinds of games often help unwind and relax, compared to things like shooters that might just be too intense for certain people. Some cite it as bland and uninspired, claiming that the dev is trying to fix reviews in such a way that it benefits them, however there’s not enough proof around those claims, but still be wary.
Outbound has potential
From what it is said, the foundations are there, it just needs some more work to justify sinking tons of hours into it, the price looks right, considering costs of games have actually went higher and cost of living went higher too. Outbound is a game about unwinding and exploring a cozy world with your own vehicle, customization is tons of fun and its definitely the highlight of the game, even if some reviewers cite that the world feels very simple. Its important to mention that the game does offer cooperative gameplay, so if you wanna jump into it with friends you can do so. There’s still a lot of work to do, but the foundations are solid from what we can see, maybe the next update will bring a wider world ot explore or something else into Outbound.
