Helldivers 2 is now a dumpster fire, and people in the PC gaming community had a big change of heart lately. Those who used to swear for the game do not anymore, and that’s because the newest update outright sucks according to many. 65% of reviews in current days are negative, which means the reputation of the game won’t be lasting for long is people keep pushing against the review scores. There’s still a long way to go, but surely enough this will be censored by Valve as “another period of off-topic reviews”, I still can’t fathom how they implemented such system.
Helldivers 2 community in shambles
They used to love this game, but now there’s nothing that can be done about it, as a matter of fact, even the AMA done by the studio behind the game was controversial, some even believe the game won’t return to what it once was. Massive nerfs were done to force people to cough up more cash on micro transactions, because its clear that this is all about greed rather than wanting to keep the gaming experience fun and balanced. And you know what the worst part is? The fact that this is mainly a cooperative game.
Helldivers 2 does not have competitive elements, at least it didn’t really used to have them, but now with all of this push towards the cash shop, the nerfs and other types of balancing it really feels as if the game is transforming into a whole different beast. Players can’t take it, so they are doing the best they can, they stop playing the game, and they also leave negative reviews against it. Only players are able to decide the future of this game, if everyone just stopped playing then changes for Helldivers 2 would have to suit the players needs.
