South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok has recently congratulated developer Pearl Abyss on the massive success of Crimson Desert, the open world action title that has already sold over 5 million copies in less than a month which makes it the fastest selling game in Korean History. Crimson Desert has seen marked improvements after the release of several patches that have improved most elements in the game including it’s controls, difficulties, customization and many more, resulting in around a massive 90,000 player count which speaks volumes for the sheer popularity of the title right now.
And the South Korean Prime Minister has taken to X/Twitter to praise developer Pearl Abyss for their triumph of a videogame Crimson Desert, here’s what he wrote:

By naturally incorporating Korean elements like taekwondo and Korean cuisine, it has opened a new chapter in K-content.
This accomplishment serves as a crucial turning point, demonstrating that the domestic game industry can expand and leap forward across diverse platforms, including consoles.
The government will also take responsibility and provide active support. We will create an environment where K-games can shine as a pillar of K-content.
Once again, we congratulate Pearl Abyss on achieving 5 million sales of Red Desert.”
