You’ve Changed is a very experimental PC game, it features an 8-bit aesthetic, but the twist is that graphics are rotoscoped and it features quite a lot of gruesome animations. It also features a ton of features that can be adjusted in any way you desire, if you are easily scared by horror games with jumpscares, you can turn those off or just lower the intensity of them too. If you are new to this kind of games, you can also adjust the difficulty and make things wait out for you longer. This degree of customization is very neat, and instead of aiming to make a game very hard or very easy, it can help bridge the gap.
You’ve Changed coming soon
There’s still no date for when we will have this new game, the page says that it will be dropping in 2026 but we can’t be for sure considering how things are going with the industry currently. There is a demo you can play that dropped way back in 2025 and it features some very interesting gameplay that will definitely appear in the final version of the game. This is being done by someone very talented in my opnion, and Burkus might have lightning in the bottle when it comes to You’ve Changed.
It also got featured in Games from Ireland, and the developer is quite pleased to know its getting more recognition. The rise of games that try to mimic the old retro style from point and click titles from the best era of gaming is quite a surprising one, many expect games like this won’t find success but there’s still a niche to fill. If you are interested and if you really liked what the demo had to offer, I can recommend you to wishlist You’ve Changed to help the developer out.
