Happy Wheels is a great browser game that left a legacy for anyone who gamed on PC back in the day. The fact that it now has a Steam release fills me with joy, because we can finally support the creator of the game in an honest way, not to mention that the price of the game is also very cheap. Five bucks can get you a level editor, the ability to play levels made by others, and also the full game itself, making it the best way to enjoy the game because you also get benefits like having zero ads.

It never really left, but now the best way to play it has popped up, I wonder what will people get up to with this game, as it currently sits in a very positive rating scale of 95% and it will keep growing. There is a few haters here and there, but those don’t know how to read that the game is the same as the browser version, only that you don’t have to access the website anymore and it works on Linux too. This is great because you can still do everything you did before, without ads that bother you.
Happy Wheels is an emblematic game that blends physics and skill coming from the player to ensure that the character you are using reaches safely to the end of the level. Of course, the game is pretty brutal and the thing most people remember about it is how the characters get dismembered and suffer to reach the goal. It’s insane what many of us being teens looked at, but nostalgia hits pretty hard with this one. Millions of maps have been ported to this version, I wonder if some of the ones I made still remain.
