The Witcher 3 is one of the most important entries in the series, and it happens to be one of the most popular too. Back when it dropped in 2015 everyone went crazy over it, and now, for some reason in the real of PC, Battle.net will be having a chance to have it. This confused every single gamer and person in the room, including me, why would people want to get this on Battle.net when Steam and GOG already have the game? Battle.net is a fossil of a launcher that only people who remember Blizzard still uses, it is insanity.
The Witcher 3 goes somewhere weird
I never thought I would hear this name anymore, but Battle.net used to be a huge launcher because Diablo was in it, it was one of the thing classic gamers remember when you talk about the early days of PC gaming and the concept of launchers. Having such a big game like The Witcher 3 in it seems to be a plan to get more interest into something that can de-stabilize Steam. At least that’s what I believe they are planning because I’m not even sure anymore on what they wanna accomplish with such a move.
I don’t think anybody is using Battle.net anymore, at least not how it was meant to be, but less people are using stuff like the Microslop store and others, so maybe they don’t want the Microslop brand to be associated. Considering Activision is part of Microsoft now, this might be a final push for the company with the worst OS on earth to ensure they can still live. Gamers have been saying it for a long time, Microsoft is a company that exists solely because games come from it, because if you want to have a real PC to work, you use Linux.
