Despite previous reports of it’s original development team disbanded, 2025’s Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is now confirmed to get a sequel by a new studio founded by the creative director of the first game, Xia Siyuan. It was earlier reported that Siyuan was no longer a part of developer Leenzee along with several other key members from the development team for Wuchang, with it’s staff being told by studio executives to branch out to various other projects, but turns out all of that may not have been completely accurate.
And although the exact events that took place in Leenzee is not known, it’s currently assumed that Xia Siyuan and a lot of other members from the original team have set up a new studio in order to move forward with the sequel to the highly successful Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
“We are delighted to once again enter into a deep partnership with 505 Games under our new studio brand, Chengdu Indolphinity,” Siyuan said, while announcing the name of the new studio.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers came out on July 24 last year for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the PC platform. The action title takes place in the land of Shu in China during the Ming Dynasty and sees a skilled pirate warrior named Wuchang traveling through the World while battling powerful foes and uncovering the many secrets of her own mysterious past.
