Already a huge hit with over 4 million copies sold, the newly released Crimson Desert is about to get even better as developer Pearl Abyss has detailed a number of changes and adjustments arriving into the open world title in the coming months which will be introducing multiple new features while also addressing several community complaints.
Expected between the months of April and June, the new gameplay features in Crimson Desert will include Boss Rematches which will allow players to replay Boss Battles that had initially given them a hard time and master them through figuring out their moveset and other patterns.
The next new feature is Re-blockading which lets enemies to reclaim previously liberated locations and will let you fight them again so you can have fun with Crimson Desert’s engaging combat. Here’s how the devs have described this upcoming new feature: “Peace is fleeting, and darkness does not retreat so easily. Enemy remnants are waiting for their chance to reclaim liberated locations. Drive out the forces that have seized these locations once more and continue proving the strength of the Greymanes.”
The third new gameplay addition is in terms of difficulty where Pearl Abyss states: “A difficulty settings feature will be added so that everyone — from new Greymanes to the more advanced — can enjoy the adventure at the level that suits them best. You’ll be able to choose from easy, normal, and hard difficulty.”
So if you thought Crimson Desert had gotten a bit too easy for you, you can now bump up the difficulty as you please and keep things challenging.
There are a lot more interesting new additions to the game including the option to hide your in-game weapons, new outfits, tons of quality-of-life changes and more, you can read them all in the official blog post.
In other news of the game, the newest patch has removed some of the AI generated artworks that were previously found in the game, so in all possibility, Crimson Desert is now pretty much AI-free.
