WWE 2K26 is expanding its roster once again, as developer Visual Concepts has officially pulled back the curtain on the first three confirmed additions for the upcoming Ringside Pass Season 3. Set for a June release, this next wave of downloadable content brings a mix of high-profile returns and fresh talent to the virtual squared circle.
Headlining the announcement is Matt Cardona. Following his return to the promotion in 2025, this marks the first time fans can play as the “Matt Cardona” persona in a WWE title, distinguishing the character from his former Zack Ryder billing. His inclusion adds a significant name to the game’s growing list of modern superstars, and serves as a long-awaited update for those familiar with his work on the independent circuit.
Joining him is the legendary “Loose Cannon,” Brian Pillman. With NXT superstar Lexis King confirming his late father’s arrival, this marks a notable return for the icon. It has been a decade since Pillman’s last appearance in a WWE game, with his last featured spot coming in WWE 2K17. King, already present on the WWE 2K26 roster, has actively encouraged players to pair the two together to chase in-game tag team championship gold.
Rounding out the initial trio is the AAA luchador La Parka. Portrayed by Brazo de Oro Jr. (II), this debut marks the first time this specific iteration of the masked wrestler appears in the franchise. This addition underscores WWE’s ongoing, productive partnership with the Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, which has already brought stars like Mr. Iguana and El Hijo Del Vikingo into the game.
These characters arrive as part of the WWE 2K26 battle pass system, which continues to distribute DLC content throughout the year following the Season 1 launch. With Season 2 slated for an April release ahead of WrestleMania 42, and the summer-bound WrestleMania 42 Pack waiting in the wings, 2K is maintaining a steady cadence of content to keep the active player base engaged.
