Warhorse Studios, responsible for games like Kingdom Come Deliverance, has slashed a very important translator from the team to save finances. They have spelled it right in our faces, they wanna cut corners and make things even cheaper by removing the human element from the equation. This already caused several people to start boycotting the company and you can join in by not buying their games. Really, after the first game there’s no reason to even care about them, and if they want to cheapen out the output then nobody should be paying for it in the first place.

Warslop Studios has committed the grave mistake of removing someone crucial to the team, many people actually care about engaging with the story, but if that is gonna be translated in such a terrible way then that means they don’t care about quality. Nobody should care about things that aren’t made with effort, because they are just time sinks that give nothing to anybody. Honestly, it feels good that Warhorse Studios, sorry, Warslop Studios didn’t get awards for the previous Game Awards of 2025. While Clair Obscur found similar issues with “AI” usage, at least they got punished by indie events for doing so.
If something isn’t made with merit then there is no reason to show support for it, and since these games are narrative focused, this shift in quality will only harm them in the long run. Various companies are tricked by this “AI” investments, and realize that efficiency isn’t there anymore and in fact it was severely mangled instead. The only output we will get from now on is plain and boring, and all the reasons to even play a Kingdom Come Deliverance game in the first place, or any game from Warhorse Studios, aren’t there anymore.
