Minecraft Dungeons 2 is around the corner and we are having a surprise release on Steam of all possible places. This comes to the surprise of many because Microsoft is always quite restrictive when it comes to handing out their own IPs, so they often lock up games on the Microsoft Store which is a place no normal people really use. It is crazy but it seems that Microsoft finally understands who the king is in here, Valve is essentially dominating the PC space by a wide margin, and it truly looks like there’s no competition ahead of them, only harsh reality itself.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 coming soon
We still don’t have a date for when it will drop on the Steam store, but we can expect that it shall be somewhere around 2026. If this isn’t the case, we might end up seeing it in 2027 although I feel this is highly unlikely. There’s a ton of chances this game might end up dropping in the third quarter of this year, so mark your calendars and get ready for this new adventure. Fans of the first entry of Minecraft Dungeons would be very happy to know that a ton of things will make a comeback in Minecraft Dungeons 2.
The action RPG combat is a given, and perhaps we might end up seeing some big rework happening in this area. Maybe more abilities, more monsters to fight, and new weapons to collect, pretty much things we should be finding in any sequel or expansion to an idea. Dungeon crawling is also coming back, which is great for those who like the idea of delving into dangerous places and slaying tons of monsters. If you are ready to take on the challenge, you should wishlist Minecraft Dungeons 2 and await for future news on it.
