Pearl Abyss has just released a new patch for Crimson Desert which fixes several of the control issues that were reported earlier while bringing some fundamental level changes that results in an easier experience than before. So if you were having a bit of trouble in Crimson Desert with it’s difficulty, the new patch is guaranteed to make things much more friendlier for you in more ways than one.

The studio wrote in the official description of the latest patch: “[W]e have been paying close attention to your experiences across issue reports, videos, livestreams, and community discussions.”

“Your feedback has been invaluable to us, and we appreciate the time and care you have taken to share it with us. This patch includes some of the improvements and fixes we were able to prepare first, including changes based on player feedback, like the addition of a Storage at Howling Hill Camp for storing your Inventory items and some improvements related to keyboard and mouse controls.

“However, this is not the end to our control improvements; we will continue to improve both controller and keyboard/mouse controls moving forward,” which means the control scheme of Crimson Desert will continue to be improved and evolved in the coming updates as well.

For now, the keyboard and mouse inputs have been re-adjusted significantly which means the overall gameplay experience on the KBM combo will be much more smoother, responsive and polished. Changes have also been made to the game’s menu and UI which will ensure a snappier and more intuitive experience in Crimson Desert.

And perhaps most importantly, the overall health and attack ratings for ‘specific enemies and bosses’ have been significantly reduced through the newest patch and it also takes less stamina for blocking all incoming attacks. The Reed Devil boss stage has been adjusted a bit to make things a bit easier while multiple puzzles and mini-games have been made simpler which will provide a more satisfying gameplay experience.
