Crimson Desert was going to be an exclusive for PS5, but the deal died rather quick. This comes as big news for gamers who thought that the console wars were over, because there’s still some fire left in the realm of consoles that isn’t yet claimed by Nintendo. Leaving that aside, people are already complaining about the game, some even say it will be a massive flop. Gaming is in a dire situation right now, between massive amounts of layoffs happening, and the fact that companies who once supported gaming are folding for a fad, it couldn’t be a darker time to be gaming.
Crimson Desert abandons exclusivity
Crimson Desert looks amazing, some even say that it plays amazing, however its also a game that many might hate because its not what they thought it was. Games that are divisive are the ones that happen to be close to art, I personally consider that this one however fails due to the mere fact of having Denuvo in it, and also because the company behind it is just terrible too. We have to remember this is a single player game being made by a company who established themselves with a previous title called Black Desert.
Black Desert is an MMO game that was known for getting into a ton of controversies, between being unfair to its players, to things that are downright darker such as ending entire careers from streamers. One has to keep in mind that companies often follow the money and don’t seem to care about providing anything of value to us the customer, but hopefully Crimson Desert proves me wrong once it releases. The general reception of people who played it seems to point towards the fact that this might be a potential winner for game of the year, hopefully that’s true.
