Stock shares of developer Pearl Abyss, after their recently released open world title Crimson Desert soared past the 3 million confirmed sales, has skyrocketed today with +27.76% up. As you may already know, Crimson Desert had a string of ‘less-than-stellar’ reviews upon release which subsequently led to the game’s stock fall by around 29% in one fell swoop. But after the studio released multiple game-changing updates that brought fixes and improvements to most of the technical and mechanical issues (like it’s controls) in Crimson Desert, the stock value is coming back up again which is a remarkable development for the game.

Dr. Serkan Toto, CEO of Japan game industry consultancy Kantan Games, has posted the current stock values of Crimson Desert while stating: “Now, investors are having a “Whoopsie” moment and are currently sending the Pearl Abyss stock +27.76% up. The studio yesterday announced 3M Crimson Desert copies sold. Happens in Asian markets all the time with game stocks.”

The reviews are also steadily improving as well, moving up from ‘mixed’ to ‘mostly positive’ and now at ‘very positive,’ after the recent patches came out. Pearl Abyss has also confirmed future patches that will improve the game’s control scheme and responsiveness even further which is guaranteed to make the entire experience even better and more polished for everyone, and could result to another spike in the review ratings.

In other news of Crimson Desert, developer Pearl Abyss has also officially stated that they’re currently working to resolve all compatibility issues with the Intel GPUs which means if you own one of them, the devs are looking to get the game playable on your graphics card.

“Regarding #CrimsonDesert support for Intel Arc: We are currently working on compatibility and optimization support so that Crimson Desert can also be enjoyed on Intel Arc GPU systems. We are preparing to provide a smooth and stable gameplay experience, and we ask for your patience until the support update becomes available. We apologize for any confusion our FAQ wording from several hours ago regarding playability on Intel Arc GPUs may have caused. Please regard this as our latest official news on the subject. Thank you.”
