Developer Pearl Abyss has detailed the final PC system requirements of their upcoming open world action RPG Crimson Desert, and whereas the previously released official system requirements were only focused on the minimum and recommended visual quality levels, the newly released specs will tell you what you need to max out the game and experience the highest visual fidelity Crimson Desert can offer. Check out the full PC specs below:

Crimson Desert

If you want to play Crimson Desert at 1080p/60FPS or 1440p/30FPS on the ‘Medium’ Settings, you will need an Intel Core i5 11600K or an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or an AMD Radeon RX 6700XT. It’s a pretty much decent, baseline visual experience that you can get and not really intensive or demanding, based on 2026 standards. However, these hardware configuration also cater to the majority of the PC gaming demographic so it’s safe to say most players would be experiencing Crimson Desert in this particular technical specifications.

However, both RTX 2080 and 6700 XT may be able to run the game on ‘High’ settings with upscaling on 1080p, with perhaps some necessary tweaking in the ‘Shadows’ and overall detail levels.

For 1440p on High Settings with 60FPS, the game requires an Intel Core i5 12600K or an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or an AMD Radeon RX 7700XT.

And finally, to get Crimson Desert to run at fully maxed-out quality levels, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5 13600K or an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 9070XT. Basically, the higher you can get in the overall hardware spectrum, the better, if you do want to dial up all the bells and whistles to the extreme.

The upcoming Crimson Desert is one of the most visually impressive titles to have come out in recent years and besides including a full suite of Ray Tracing effects, the game also incorporates ultra realistic water effects courtesy of FFT Ocean simulation and Shallow Water simulation which will enable lifelike formation of waves, currents and ripples in water bodies of the game.

Crimson Desert is scheduled to release on March 19 and the PC version of the game has already reached a staggering three million wishlists on Steam.
