A Byte War is a new RTS game that recently released on PC and its quite the interesting game to play if you are a fan of deep strategic games with tons of things to do. You have the ability to build patterns out of blocks, and doing so allows you to get access to different structures and machinery that you need to tackle the threats in the map. This is a very interesting take in the RTS genre that was never done before, and the fact that this comes from the hands of some small developers shows us that indie gaming is where the cool ideas will always remain.
A Byte War got amazing release
And its also at 10% off during its release period, so you have to be quick before the offer expires in April 6th. Regardless the game is very cheap, so you have to take that into consideration because maybe the offer is not a relevant thing you care about. If you are unsure about it, you can always check out the demo provided in the same store page which is always a boon for those who want to make an informed purchase. I think its an alright game all things considered.
A Byte War is quite the interesting concept, cause a byte is an accumulation of bits and you are pretty much building one each time you string many squares together. Depending on the shape or the pattern, it kinda feels as if you were making some big wafer for some chip, so you will have to memorize the different shapes to ensure you are building the right thing at the right moment. The dangerous from another dimension are very tricky to deal with, it all depends on how you build and how you allocate resources in A Byte War.
