The Island mode which made it’s debut in last year’s WWE 2K25 will make it’s return in the upcoming WWE 2K26 with several new multiplayer modes along with Triple Threats, Fatal 4-Way matches, new MyTAG teams and a more non-linear and replayable narrative. The latest Ringside Report has detailed all the new flairs in this mode where you’ll get to forge alliance with one of three groups and fight for your chosen tribe.
The first of the three groups in the Island mode in WWE 2K26 is called The Order of Tradition which is led by Cody Rhodes and is for wrestlers who want to represent the storied legacy of the squared circle and the overall showmanship and storytelling that’s a vital part of sports entertainment. The second group is called the Order of Anarchy and led by CM Punk, and is based around questioning and breaking the established ways of the business and making your own rules.
And lastly, there’s the Order of Shadows which is led by Rhea Ripley and is centered on embracing all “freaks and weirdos” and basically everyone who “wish to bring that weirdness out from the shadows and reshape The Island.”
All of these three groups will be fighting for control of The Scrapyard which is an arena showcased in the trailers for WWE 2K26 sporting new collision animations alongside weapon upgrades.
Also, your choice of faction will determine the overall perspective your created wrestler will have on the events in the game’s main narrative with a more non linear progression that will let you play missions in your preferred order which can be pretty refreshing.
There are also both Triple Threats and Fatal 4-Way matches along with MyTAG that lets players participate in co-op 2v2 PvP with their friends.
Finally, the full roster for WWE 2K26 has also been officially unveiled by 2K and you can check out all the 400 plus superstars from the different eras of WWE.
WWE 2K26 is slated to release on March 13 worldwide and you can pre-order your favorite edition of the game right now across all platforms.
