The State of Play from this month was jam packed with a ton of exciting reveals that surprised everyone, as a matter of fact nobody really expected some of the releases popping up recently. Between all the crazy announcements that have been happening, Mina The Hollower happens to be one of those reveals that has everyone excited about it, who doesn’t like a good game coming from the hands of the same people who made Shovel Knight? The answer is pretty clear, everyone loves games like this. Nobody expected this new State of Play would be filled with so many gems to look at and so little money in our wallets.
State of Play Mina the Hollower Demo
The demo seems to be only for PS5 right now, but it will later drop on other platforms, this move is clearly done to assure some sort of exclusivity still remains in the console sphere, because that seems to be waning even today. For those who have been seeking a new game that respects the values of old games and gamers alike, Mina The Hollower does not disappoint as it is clearly inspired by the Game Boy Zelda games that everyone knows and love. Perhaps it would be neat if you played them to get familiarized in case you didn’t before, you would miss out on a lot.
This new game is coming in Spring of 2026, filling the calendar with more and more releases that look and sound amazing, mechanics in this one will be pretty unique, so if you were itching for exploration and experimentation this is your game. If you own a PS5 you can probably access a demo right now, so take advantage of that because it might be the last time getting a console might even be worth it. Perhaps wishlist Mina the Hollower on Steam too just in case.
