Serious Sam 2 just got achievements, this is an amazing thing that will allow PC players to get more reasons to give this game a replay. Adding achievements for such an old game is something that nobody really expects, and this one has around 14 years in the market. It is crazy, but since we got an anniversary update for Serious Sam 2 perhaps the community really asked for this to be a thing. While I don’t understand it, a ton of people seem to always ask for Steam achievements and dislike when a game does not have them, kinda feels as if they didn’t enjoy the games but that’s besides the point.
Serious Sam 2 got bigger
This is a huge game changer that can make people consider to even buy the game in the first place, the Steam community is very vocal when it comes to these digital collectables that back in the day were implemented as hidden secrets and unlockables instead of some sort of virtual badge that does nothing but decorate profiles. Serious Sam 2 is quite the curious shooter, and it is perhaps one of Devolver Digital’s most popular franchises that they are currently holding. With this anniversary update, and now achievements that have been added, perhaps there is a consideration to put out a new game.
We really don’t know if a new Serious Sam game is being developed, but considering that Bubsy 4D is a thing that is being cooked, and that it might also be a good game, we could be surprised. If you are interested in the Serious Sam series, be aware that its a decades old franchise at this point, but old is gold as they say so you should give it a try if you are seeking for some quirky shooter game. Perhaps you can even wishlist it too.
