GRIMPS is quite the weird game in a good way, this new PC shooter has us fighting an army of plush toys, which we will have to destroy with very bizarre weapons such as a shark gun and many more. A trailer has been revealed showcasing some gameplay, and its looking pretty good if you ask me, there’s a clear emphasis in movement and trying to keep up with hordes of enemies. If you are interested a demo has dropped which you can try out right now, it does not occupy much space in your drive to download it, and if you want to keep tabs on the game for longer you can request to test it.
GRIMPS looks epic
Despite this being a shooter, it does look quite cozy cause that’s the intention behind the aesthetic, fighting against plush toys sounds like a walk in the park, but when many of these gather things start getting more hectic. Trying to survive is a must in this game, and you have a variety of weird weapons to ensure you survive, while the methods of getting rid of them are quite inefficient, fun is way more valuable in this weird apocalypse. Fans of Fortnite might enjoy the visuals of this one since they feel rather similar.
GRIMPS might end up becoming one of the best shooters in 2026 provided nothing else drops, if things go well we might be getting this in some months. Despite the aesthetic, keep in mind this is a game for adults, we don’t have to assume things based on how they look or what they are since video games are for everyone, especially adults. If you were looking for some bizarre shooter that defies what the genre is about, I feel like GRIMPS is something you should try out.
