Crisol Theater of Idols has us visiting a haunted Spain filled with tons of malevolent creatures trying to make our lives impossible by assailing is from every part of Tormentosa. It is quite ironic it is called that way cause it means “stormy” in Spanish, regardless we already have a ton of games focused on Spain folklore and culture such as Blasphemous and others but one that happens in an island near Spain is something quite cool. This is a survival horror in first person for PC, so we can expect that items might not be plentiful and we will need to manage things better.
Crisol Theater of Idols is out
For those who have been seeking something scary but that isn’t quite indie, Crisol Theater of Idols is the game you should aim for, it currently sits at a 10% release discount that everyone should take advantage of. It also sits at a very comfortable 88% of positive reviews, which means the rating is very positive, tons of people are quite happy with how the game plays out and I bet it might become a favorite of some. There is a very cool mechanic in the game where our life is actually our ammunition so we have to use it carefully.
The sacred arsenal we possess can transform our blood into a different array of attacks, all of them will be effective against the malicious creatures lurking across Tormentosa, and depending on how well we use them we will either survive or die. It feels as if the team behind this game decided to take the concept of management to the max, as we don’t only have to manage items but also our life meter a ton, patching out a problem that plagued the survival horror genre. If you are interested you should buy Crisol Theater of Idols or wishlist it.
