The release date of Forza Horizon 6 may have been leaked via an alleged screenshot ahead of the game’s full reveal at the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct event, and suggests that players may be able to start their engines in the latest installment of the premier arcade racing series on May 19 with early access starting on May 15 for those who’ll buy the Premium Edition of the game. Check out the screenshot below:
The image was first posted by Xbox Infinite’s Twitter/X account, which also looks pretty much like an advertisement for the Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 6 that includes the following bonus contents:
- VIP Membership
- Welcome Pack
- Car Pass
- Time Attack Car Pack
- Italian Passion Car Pack (coming post-launch)
- 2 Premium Expansions (coming post-launch)
Also, as a pre-order bonus for Forza Horizon 6, you can get a “pre-tuned and exclusive” Ferrari J50 which will no doubt boost your early in-game progress considerably.
As confirmed previously, Forza Horizon 6 will take place in Japan which is perfectly aligned with the series’ penchant for racing in exotic places. After taking place in the UK for Forza Horizon 4, Mexico in Forza 5, the upcoming Forza Horizon 6 will take the players to Japan which is another extraordinary place with it’s distinct vibes and characteristics that are sure to add greatly to the overall racing experience in unique ways.
First announced at last year’s Tokyo Game Show, Forza Horizon 6 is set to feature over 550 cars in what is being labeled as “Forza Horizon’s biggest open world driving adventure yet”.
However, the alleged release date is yet to be confirmed by either Microsoft or Playground Games so do take all of the above with a bit of grain of salt, for at least the time being. But thankfully we don’t have to wait for much longer for the official confirmation as Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled to be showcased in Xbox Developer Direct which will take place on January 22 at 1pm ET/6pm GMT so keep an eye out for the upcoming event.
