One of the head turner RPGs and a sleeper hit of last year, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has managed to wow players across all platforms but if you haven’t played it’s predecessor title yet which was also a pretty engaging experience with lush visuals, you might want to give it a chance as the 2018 action RPG is about to get a huge graphical overhaul on the Playstation 5 soon.
The upcoming PS5 port of Kingdom Come Deliverance is confirmed to include 4K resolutions, a higher framerate and high-resolution textures and while the original title was no slouch in the visual department when it was released, the new port is going to give it a proper current-gen makeover and make revisiting the world of Bohemia in 2026 all the more worthwhile. On the game’s official PS Store page, it’s product description wrote:
“The PS5 version of Kingdom Come Deliverance now features graphical updates including 4K resolution, improved framerate, high-resolution textures and many more. Medieval Bohemia has never been so beautiful.”
It’s sequel, 2025’s Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been a sizable hit with the game confirmed to have sold over 4 million units so far, making the action RPG a surefire commercial success.
Upon it’s release, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was highly praised for it’s exceptional melee combat system and engrossing narrative along with some of the deeper gameplay elements that players just won’t find in most other titles in it’s genre. The game had also sold over 2 Million units after 2 months of it’s release and just a month later had surpassed the 3 Million mark as well.
The game also received a host of post-launch contents including a Hardcore Mode which bumps up the difficulty significantly by introducing a range of modifiers that reduces your character’s overall stats in a number of ways. The RPG also got it’s third major DLC named Mysteria Ecclesiae on November 11 which sees players investigating an intriguing mystery that features a completely new storyline with a fresh batch of quests, characters along with multiple endings.
