Devil of the Plague is quite the interesting twist on the cooperative multiplayer genre and it got a trailer, bring yourself and three of your other friends to try and cleanse the cursed lands from the presence of Asag, a very powerful demon who has corrupted everything that you ever known and cared for. Survival horror is a genre that barely gets made into cooperative games so it is nice to see another shot at trying this from a different developer, as always indie games never cease to amaze with the wealth of concepts and things they explore it almost feels as if we have exhausted everything but there’s more.
Devil of the Plague looks interesting
PC is always filled with tons of games to try out and perhaps this won’t be releasing in consoles or even having any sort of cross play compatibility so better get your hands on a decent PC if you can even do that anymore in this day and age. This game will really need to be optimized if it seeks to maximize the amount of players it wants to have, and this is due to the current hardware craze that is happening thanks to “AI” and other disruptive forces in the industry that will soon become irrelevant. Hopefully Devil of the Plague is optimized enough to run in budget systems.
Not many people can afford new DDR5 builds, and with the current price hike I would say its pretty much an impossibility for many since RAM essentially went to the moon by a tenfold. Entire brands have left the consumer space such as Micron and Nvidia has been doing nothing to help us gamers in any way. Maybe it is time where old becomes new again and we just start kicking off our huge backlog of games and older media, things aren’t getting better soon it seems, but maybe we can play Devil of the Plague so give it a spot in your wishlist.
