Along the new characters added to the game, you will have the possibility of using 8 different balls that have been created for this update, bringing us more variety in play style alongside some new passives that will shake up the play field, allowing us to do more combos and weird synergies like a good game of this genre should allow us. There is a reason this game was a finalist in the New York Game Awards, and that’s because the idea is very wild and innovative, while some people might be tired of the roguelite genre it is impressive to see so many new things coming from this concept alone.
If people focused on working on more genres, perhaps more novel things can pop up in things like platforming games, or even racing games, the medium is very wide and due to the fact that people and big companies kept playing it safe it is also undiscovered.
