The God Slayer got an amazing trailer showcasing the new PC game, the looks of this game are impressive and the studio behind it only has some experience with small games like My Time At Portia. It is cool to see a small studio like this have the ability to make such a massive game that attempts to rival against the triple A industry. While there’s still no information on when its going to come, we can assume it might either release in 2026 or at most in 2027, trying to keep momentum with the hype of the trailer is important for a game to sell well.

Some are saying that this might be the next Witcher, but I would hold my breath while making comparisons as its not a fair thing to do. Many people including myself end up comparing games to each other and oftentimes experiences end up diverging enough to the point it becomes its own original thing. Set in a Steam Punk world, this game provides some immaculate aesthetic treat that surprises everyone that looks at it. You are an Elemancer, a powerful wizard capable of controlling the elements and your task is to kill gods.
The premise of The God Slayer feels similar to that of Dark Souls, as god slaying is a crucial story telling element for that series, but perhaps it will surprise us with something new and maybe the game won’t be just world building but it will have an actual story to follow. Considering the success of the previous games by this developer, we can rest assured that whatever they are attempting to do is a work of quality, and much to the like of other small studios they focus on putting all their love and passion into making something interesting.
