Survivors Guild is a new Vampire Survivors type of game coming to PC at an unspecified date. While some people might be tired of seeing many games of this kind, at least this one decides to change the setting and theme for something more akin to classic JRPG’s of the 90s. Inspired by titles like Dragon Quest, Survivors Guild has that distinct chibi pixel art style that is quite reminiscent of the one indie developers love to use. This one is a true indie game, as it is self published with the help of nobody. There’s a ton of things that this new game will bring.
Survivors Guild will have online Co-Op
This feature will be included from the get go, and it is amazing to see this being a thing because it took very long for it to be implemented in Vampire Survivors. While the game clearly plays in a similar fashion, there seems to be some systems that are unique to it, and it might be actually more tough to win in it compared to Vampire Survivors which can get broken quite easily once you know how to play it. The developer is looking for feedback from people, and they would be happy to know what you think about the game.
Depending on the success it might have, and how many people ask for a certain feature, the developer will focus on trying to add it to the game. While Local Co-Op is a hard thing to implement, the developer behind Survivors Guild will actually put it in the game if enough people request it. It does make sense why this mode isn’t a thing, trying to do split screen in a game like this must be quite an odyssey, but it might be worth it to become the first game to do it on the Steam platform.
