Bandai Namco has revealed the official launch window for the hotly anticipated upcoming Daima DLC Part 2 for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot along with a detailed overview of all the contents set to feature in the add-on. The first DLC pack based on the recent Daima anime for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot came out back in July this year and the next part of the DLC is now confirmed to be released early 2026 which means within Q1 of next year.
The upcoming DLC will add Vegeta (mini, along with his Super Saiyan 3 transformation) as a new playable character, along with a new boss fight against Tamagami plus there will be whole new enemies from the demon realm for the player to fight as well. The first enemy type will be the Gendarmerie Tank who are quite the heavy hitters with long ranged charge-based attacks while the other new enemy variant are the Gendarmerie Officers who can call for reinforcements and have powerful unique attacks of their own.
However, it seems there will be yet another DLC on the Daima anime as the upcoming one doesn’t have the fan favorite Super Saiyan 4 version of Goku in it which is most likely reserved for a third DLC currently in the pipeline for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The Super Saiyan 4 form for Goku is also teased at the end of the video above which is surely going to be the main highlight of the 3 part Daima DLC for Kakarot when it comes out later in next year.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot came out back in 2020 and is a faithful re-telling of the original Dragon Ball Z anime, starting with the Saiyan Saga and ending with the Majin Buu Saga, while also adding a slew of new contents of it’s own. Receiving generally mixed reviews at release, Kakarot was a definite hit with over 8 million copies sold worldwide as of July 2024.
