Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds is set to get the free Title Update 4 on December 16 which will introduce a new Elder Dragon, new Equipment, event and many more but the most promising aspect of the upcoming update is it’s batch of performance improvements focusing on both CPU and GPU optimization. Since it’s release, Monster Hunter Wilds on the PC was riddled with subpar performances even on sufficiently high-end systems and it seems the upcoming Title Update will finally bring the necessary performance improvements and fixes that will ensure a smoother experience across a wide range of PCs.
“Free Title Update 4 on Dec 16 brings an array of performance improvements across all platforms. TU4 focuses on CPU and GPU optimization, reducing processing load with more than 100 under-the-hood improvements, among others.
We’ll follow this up in January with a PC-specific update with even more improvements, and are looking into further optimization for implementation in the February content update.”
This is great news for the PC gaming community as a whole and especially to all players who were previously disappointed with Monster Hunter Wilds’ performance.
Title Update 4 will also add a new Elder Dragon named Gogmazios in Monster Hunter Wilds and will be available right after the player has completed the main mission titled “A First Cry.” The new quest will also enable players to upgrade Rarity 8 Artian Weapons into Gogma Artian Weapons from in-game materials that they’ll receive from Gogmazios. There’s also bonus skills plus new armor Transcendence, allowing players to upgrade all HR 100+ amours in their inventory, which means the new update raises the bar for all your weapons and equipment in Monster Hunter Wilds.
The upcoming update also introduces new challenging Optional Quests that pits the players against a trio of 9-star monsters, so if you’ve already beaten the entire game and are hungry for even more challenges, you’ll have your hands full after the new title update.
