Fallosophy is quite the name, but its a wordplay on falling and philosophy, because the game is played in different periods of history and western philosophy. This PC game has quite the ideas, yet it still wishes to remain minimalist in style by making everything with pixel art. There’s still no specific date for when the game will release, aside from the fact that its coming in 2026. The world play is interesting but we hope that the game is too, there’s many things to experiment with in the genre so they need to get wild with ideas.
Fallosophy is coming soon
There is a ton of ideas that could work to make pinball tables, and from what we see in the game they are quite huge with many winding roads, so maybe that’s the gimmick. Back in the 90s there was a period of time where every franchise had its own pinball spinoff that was rather good aside from some exceptions. There was even entire games based around the concept such as Devilish, which decided to mix things up by giving us something resembling Arkanoid too. Sometimes small ideas like this can be tons of fun to play around with.
One key for game development, especially for indie developers, is trying to aim for something compact and easy to make, and from that prototype you can start branching into more wild paths. Fallosophy seems to take this idea into account, the game looks simple but maybe it will surprise us with something amazing. For small projects like this, it is better to go with grounded expectations to get surprised by the creativity of these indie developers. To make sure you don’t forget about Fallosophy in the future, make sure to add it to your wishlist so you don’t miss the news that may come out for it soon.
