Cyberpunk 2077 has been out for 5 years now, which seems like a crazy metric because games seem to have been getting worse compared to it in modern days. With the current fads on the industry, quality has been put aside and profits are at the forefront while scamming customers. Raising prices, lying about features in games, and even more things have been happening at a rampant rate right in front of the face of gamers, but sometimes we need to celebrate the small wins. Cyberpunk 2077 is 5 years old and with that said there has been a trailer to showcase that accomplishment.
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting bigger
With a sequel announced and possible plans for more media related to it, Cyberpunk 2077 is celebrating all the things it had to go through to become complete. A new Trading Card Game has been announced where we will pit our edge runners against each other in a fast paced game that might value your ability to combo your cards correctly. While there’s just slivers of information right now, it is possible that when Cyberpunk 2077 gets this new card game things will start getting more competitive on the trading card game scene and locals.
There’s also a ton of partnerships being planned, which means that there’s a huge possibility this game will have crossovers and become a brand. When you think about it, the fact that they are releasing a ton of merchandise of the evil company of the game makes you feel that they kinda missed the point of the story they told. Cyberpunk 2077 is about rebellion against a broken system, and we should be looking up to Johnny Silverhand and decide to take the battle against Arasaka instead of joining them. Our future can only be reached one time and we are in need of some pushback.
