Valor Mortis gets an amazing gameplay trailer in 2025

Valor Mortis

Valor Mortis looks stunning, it really defeats plenty of triple A games in the market. The facade of the triple A industry is falling apart each time a small indie studio releases something that looks more complex than whatever these companies can produce. It is a show that art matters more than profits, and effort is what makes this art be so good in the first place. Games like Clair Obscur Expedition 33 are art pieces that win prizes, while games like Call of Duty 7 exist to become a laughing stock for the masses. This new Souls-like might be the best game of 2026.

Valor Mortis looks amazing

The gameplay looks fluid, and it feels like not a single moment is wasted, this is really a souls like that puts you on edge, and if you aren’t on the defensive you are probably gonna get stomped by some abomination. The monster design is awesome and gruesome, and the concept of stealing the power of corruption is a neat one that I wish to see where it ends up being developed into. Potentially, this can be our level up system and there might be some places where we can rest to level up just like Dark Souls.

Valor Mortis really blows every triple A out of the water, and it might perhaps beat Grand Theft Auto 6 by having the most detailed graphics available. It is crazy to see how much graphical technology has advanced, and the only thing we can ask is if things will keep getting better in this front. The reality is that we are grinding to a screeching halt, and technology is reaching its limit, there’s so much one can do by only pushing processing power further, there needs to be a shift in how we plan building hardware if we want to reach anywhere. You should wishlist Valor Mortis to help the developers out.
