TimeSplitters Rewind

TimeSplitters Rewind just got an amazing trailer, nobody expected this project would ever come to fruition but here we are. The game is currently on early access and it can be obtained for free and only on PC from the official project page. Everything has been done from scratch, and while there is some material that looks reminiscent to that of the early days of the franchise, it is clear that the team put tons of effort into making new stuff. This game is an homage of all games in the TimeSplitter series and it even includes a big offline campaign for you to play with optional online components.

TimeSplitters Rewind is out

While not an official title, there’s some degree of things that make it stand out and feel official. For instance, all of the members on this team are clearly people who worked on the game when it was supported by license holders. Much to the like of the Concord fan revival, this revives a long lost franchise that was niche but loved by a ton of people back in the day. TimeSplitters Rewind is set to be an instant hit in the market, and apparently the download servers have been failing thanks to the traffic.

Fans of the series are excited to relieve their best gaming moments, and you could be one of them too since you don’t really have to pay for anything, its truly free and will always be. For those curious on the platforms, this only seems to work on PC so far, and the Steam Deck version seems to work pretty well too according to the developers. A ton of passionate fans, and even real developers of the series have put tons of love into this project, so the only thing we can do is try out TimeSplitters Rewind to show our support.
