The Myth of a Godslayer looks quite good for being the first game of Team EZ. This new PC game is quite promising in features and things to do, and it is clear that tons of love went to the production of its assets. As always, indie games are developed with passion by people who often lack enough resources to make something huge like the triple A sphere tends to do. More often than not however, games made with love triumph against games made for profit, and people trying to convince others that everyone does it for money tend to be people who never played indie games.
The Myth of a Godslayer is released
Currently sitting at 20%, this is the best opportunity to get this new indie title on the market. For fans of the Ys series, there’s a ton of similar elements that one would love to try out, even people who like the Mana series should give this one a try. As the name implies, we are attempting the monumental task of slaying a god, a classic RPG staple that has been with us for decades now, even before some of you were born. There’s also some Zelda elements here and there, because puzzle solving is a big part of this game’s dungeons too.
Explore this varied open world with tons of things to do, because The Myth of a Godslayer is quite the big game made by a small team of passionate developers. While it may seem amateurish at first, one has to give it a try before drawing into conclusions. Most indie games end up surprising people with the most unexpected things, because indie developers often take risks that triple A developers will never do in the current state of the industry. If you don’t have the money to get The Myth of a Godslayer, give it a wishlist position.
