Last Epoch gets review bombed for DLC announcement in 2025

Last Epoch

Last Epoch is getting review bombed due to a terrible decision on their part. It has gotten so bad that even the developer behind the game is telling people to go and play Path of Exile instead. It is curious how greed often sabotages decent games, and after the mistake things often go in free fall mode while reputation keeps getting lost. I feel like the only way to solve this is cancel this, and add this new class as a free update, by giving a proper apology to the people that felt back stabbed for this decision, but I’m no business man here.

Last Epoch is getting bombed

Last Epoch is experiencing some harsh periods in its life, its is quite early for drama on this new live service, and people are getting quite worried about the roadmap they seem to be taking. Some are already jumping off the game, saying that they felt disrespected after the reveal, I would honestly feel the same way if they were asking me for cash for something that should have been in the base game. Sometimes, greed knows no bounds and often ruins things that were perfectly okay before, and this always results in conflict.

Last Epoch had a chance some months ago to topple the reign of games such as Path of Exile, to become a worthy rival that kick started something bigger in the horizon. However, bad decisions take unexpected turns for those who aren’t ready for consequences, and doing something like this in 2025, almost entering 2026 is preposterous. We have left the era of the 2010s away, and we should keep getting further from those bad decisions. We are in a period for gaming that is quite curious, there’s a ton of chances, but there’s also a ton of issues with greed by companies and very low standards for buyers.
